THE HAPPY WORKPLACE PROGRAM©
Many of us spend the majority of our week at work, so how we relate to our colleagues can have a huge impact on not only our job performance and satisfaction, but our overall health and happiness.
For business owners and managers, finding, engaging and retaining good staff is one of their biggest challenges to business success.
On the the flip side, Gen X and Y workers will only stay in workplaces if they have a sense of belonging and feel that they are part of a cohesive team. They want bosses who are more like coaches and are demanding ongoing training in areas such as communication skills and conflict resolution.
That's where the Happy Workplace Program© comes in. The program is designed to provide management and staff with the knowledge and skills to understand each other and communicate effectively with mutual respect. By recognizing that we have different thinking preferences - and that none are right or wrong - we are well on our way to building a happy and high performing team.
Workshop 1 - WHOLE BRAIN THINKING AT WORK
This part of the program requires each team member to comple the NBI™ General Adult assessment which profiles their preferred thinking style, based on the four quadrants of the brain. The profile takes about 20 mintues to complete on-line.
Once profiling is complete, NBI™ Licensed Practitioner Lindel Greggery will attend your workplace to conduct a three-hour workshop on Whole Brain Thinking at Work.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:
· How the four brain quadrants affect our behaviour and performance at work
· The How, Why, What and Who of communication
· The implications of being a Realist/Analyst, Organizer/Preserver, Strategist/Imagineer or Socializer/Empathizer
· Why some tasks are easy for us and some are difficult
